Saint-Gilles / West Coast
Réunion's west coast around Saint-Gilles is the island's main resort strip — dry, sunny and lagoon-fringed, with real restaurants and nightlife unlike most tier-2 kite destinations, wrapped in an unmistakably French-Indian-Ocean culture of volcano hikes, curry and rum.
