Beau Vallon
Beau Vallon, on Mahé's north-west coast, is described by Wikipedia as possibly the most popular beach on the island — a wide sandy bay backed by hotels and restaurants, with clear water and coral reef. It is Mahé's main watersports hub and, per the spot brief, its most popular kite bay, with generally flat nearshore water and several kite schools based here.

|---|---|
| season notes | Seychelles has two monsoon seasons — SE trades roughly May–September and NW monsoon roughly November–March, with April/October as lighter transition months. Beau Vallon's north-west-facing orientation means it is best positioned to catch the NW monsoon flow directly, which is the season it is most cited as Mahé's prime kite bay for. |
