Chałupy
Chałupy is a small village on Poland's narrow Hel Peninsula, wedged between Władysławowo and Kuźnica, and is the best-known kitesurfing beach in the country. The village sits on a strip only a few hundred metres wide between the sheltered, shallow Puck Bay lagoon and the open Baltic Sea, and almost all kiting happens on the bay side, where the water is flat and standing-depth for a long way out. It grew into Poland's kite capital partly on the back of a long-running naturist-beach tradition from the communist era, and today is lined with kite schools (including Kite Zone and Easy Surf) and beach bars through the summer.

- The open Baltic side, a short walk over the dunes, offers small wind-swell for more advanced riding
- High summer gets crowded on the water and on the beach - early mornings or shoulder season are quieter
