El Cuyo

El Cuyo is a laid-back fishing-village-turned-kite-town on Yucatan's 'emerald coast', a barrier island facing the Gulf of Mexico next to the Ria Lagartos Biosphere Reserve. Shallow water extending 100+ metres from shore and dependable daily ocean breezes have drawn a cluster of kite schools, making it popular for learning and for downwind runs.
