Esposende (Ofir lagoon, Cávado river)

A river-mouth lagoon spot where the Cávado meets the Atlantic at Ofir, about 45 minutes north of Porto. A soft, sandy, shallow-bottomed lagoon gives sheltered beginner-friendly flat water, with open ocean riding available just outside the river mouth for more experienced kiters.
