Jambiani
Jambiani is a low-key fishing and seaweed-farming village on Zanzibar's south-east coast, about 7 km south of Paje, protected by an offshore reef that creates calm, shallow, reef-flat lagoons. It is home to Mawimbi Kite School and is generally described as 'astonishingly uncrowded' compared to Paje, with dedicated flat-water zones for beginners and reef wave spots for advanced riders.
