La Sarga
La Sarga is Dakhla's premier ocean-side wave spot, a small fishing village at the southern tip of the peninsula about 15km from town, reached by 4x4 over sand track. Small-to-medium beach-break waves peel over a sandy bottom in clear Atlantic water, drawing experienced wave riders away from the flat lagoon a short drive away. Guides consistently call it the most sought-after wave kitesurfing spot in the Dakhla area.

Hazards
- Fisher nets in the water
- Rip currents/channels typical of ocean wave breaks
- Active military zone nearby - keep distance
- Very isolated with limited rescue options
Rules
- Respect the perimeter of the nearby military base
- No kite school on site - self-sufficient, experienced riders only
Tips
- Best waves come in the flat sections between sets, not the biggest sets themselves
- Bring your own repair/spares - nothing but the fishing village at the spot
- Go with a local guide or an experienced group given the isolation
