Mannar / Adam's Bridge

Adam's Bridge (Rama's Bridge) is a roughly 48km chain of limestone shoals, sandbars and low islands linking Mannar Island to India across the Palk Strait/Gulf of Mannar boundary. As a kite destination it is a wild, expedition-style extension of the Kalpitiya scene - about three hours north of Kalpitiya by road/boat - offering flat, skinny-water sandbar riding through a remote, largely uninhabited landscape.
