Montrose Beach

Montrose Beach in Uptown is Chicago's designated kiteboarding beach on Lake Michigan, with the city's skyline as a backdrop and the largest beach parking lot in Chicago. Windy City Kite Sports runs lessons and IKO-certified instruction here, and it is the anchor spot for a small but active Great Lakes kite scene that also covers Miller Beach, IN and Sheboygan, WI.
