One Eye
Mauritius's most famous wave - a fast, hollow, world-class left-hand reef break roughly a mile off the Le Morne peninsula, not in the north as sometimes assumed. Research corrected this spot's location: multiple sources (a kite-lagoon operator's Le Morne guide, a surf atlas GPS fix near the Berjaya Resort, and a kite travel guide) all place One Eye just outside Le Morne's reef, alongside the other Le Morne wave breaks (Manawa, Chameau, Little Reef). Reserved for expert kite-wave riders; triple-overhead on big swells.
