Oostduinkerke

Oostduinkerke sits on the same continuous North Sea beach as De Panne and Nieuwpoort, with a very wide sandy foreshore (250-700 m at low tide) that is famous locally for horseback shrimp fishing, sand-yachting and 'parakarting.' Kite clubs (Sycod, Windekind Kitesurfschool) run from the beach, and the huge tidal flat exposed at low tide gives large shallow, flat sections favored by beginners and freestylers.
