Punta Rasa
Punta Rasa sits at San Clemente del Tuyú, the headland where the Río de la Plata estuary meets the open Atlantic, roughly 300 km from Buenos Aires City. The mixing of river and sea creates a large, shallow, waist-deep flat-water estuary that is unusually warm for the region and very forgiving, making it one of the best beginner and maneuver-practice spots on the Buenos Aires coast.

Monthly wind statistics
Station: San Clemente del Tuyú (modeled) (Weather Spark (NASA MERRA-2 reanalysis climatology, not a single ground station), ~5 km) — No Windfinder windstatistics page exists for Punta Rasa/San Clemente itself (only a forecast page). Windguru has a live spot board (windguru.cz/53445, 'Punta Rasa - San Clemente') but no historical monthly climatology table. Used instead: Weather Spark's MERRA-2 reanalysis climatology for San Clemente del Tuyú, ~5 km from Punta Rasa - close enough to be a reasonable proxy since this stretch of Buenos Aires coast is flat and open (no major terrain effects between them). Unlike some other spots in this batch, the modeled seasonal shape here is broadly consistent with the known Nov-Mar best season: wind speed is fairly flat year-round (~10.8-11.6 kn) with a mild peak in Jan/Nov/Dec. No Beaufort probability or air/water temp by month available.

Hazards
- S/SE winds considered unfavorable/problematic for the spot
Tips
- Water here runs warmer than the open Atlantic further south because of the river/sea confluence.
- Rasakite is the longest-running and best-rated local school for lessons and gear.
