Punta San Carlos is a small fishing settlement on Baja California's remote Pacific coast, about 80km south of El Rosario down a dirt track off Highway 1. It has been ridden by windsurfers and kiteboarders for more than 40 years and is a well-known destination for open-ocean wind and wave riding away from any real infrastructure.
