The dune coast around Sabaudia, inside the Circeo National Park, holds at least one named kite launch at the Foce Verde river inlet, close to a beach known as Bufalara, worked by a local school running courses from April to October. Best winds are westerly (Ponente) and north-westerly (Maestrale), building wave conditions on a long sandy beach, with a summer thermal from the west also filling in.
