Sandy Bay
Sandy Bay is a turquoise-water lagoon inside Cape Range National Park on the Ningaloo coast, roughly 45-70 minutes' drive south of Exmouth town in remote north-west Western Australia. Protected by an outer reef, it offers warm, shallow, super-clear flat water prized by freeriders and freestylers, and is one of the two signature kite beaches (with nearby Graveyards) that put Exmouth on the Australian kite map. Note: the index coordinates for this spot placed it on the wrong (eastern/gulf) side of the peninsula - corrected here to the western Ningaloo coast inside the park, though the exact day-use beach position could not be pin-verified.
