Sottomarina is a long (roughly 5.5km), wide sandy beach on a peninsula south of Venice, with the Adriatic on one side and the Venice Lagoon on the other. It's one of the most frequented kite spots in Veneto, offering both flat sections and waves depending on wind and swell.
