Torvaianica
Torvaianica is one of the main kitesurfing hubs on the Roman coast south of Ostia, a wide sandy beach that catches everything from Scirocco through to Maestrale. It's built up with certified kite schools and a year-round nautical club for gear storage, but gets crowded and hard to park at in summer, and can throw a heavy shore-break when wind and swell line up.
