Vilanculos

Vilanculos (Vilankulo) is the mainland gateway town to the Bazaruto Archipelago National Park, a growing tourism hub on Mozambique's central coast with a wide, shallow, turquoise-water beach frequently rated among the world's best freeride kite settings. The town has its own international airport with daily flights to Johannesburg and Maputo, and hosts the IKO-affiliated VilanCool kite school and beach resort right on South Beach.
