Taíba

A mellow beach village about 75km/1.5 hours from Fortaleza with a well-known kite lagoon plus a quieter satellite lagoon (Taibinha) for those who find the main one crowded - noticeably more relaxed in character than its close neighbors Paracuru and Cumbuco. A good middle-ground base: easy access from Fortaleza, real lagoon flat water, without Cumbuco's crowds.
