Taíba
Taíba is a beach district of São Gonçalo do Amarante about 25km from Cumbuco (roughly 59km from Fortaleza to the municipal seat), known among kiters for its large flat-water lagoon that has become a freestyle and big-air playground thanks to strong, often offshore wind. The presence of a large wind farm (Parque Eólico da Taíba) right on the coast is itself a marker of how reliably windy the area is. The ocean side, by contrast, is choppy and not recommended for beginners.

| notes | The lagoon's often-offshore wind and flat water make it a freestyle/big-air favorite for confident riders; the ocean side is choppy and unsuitable for beginners, and offshore-leaning wind means self-rescue/kite skill matters. |

Station: Paracuru, Ceará (weatherspark modeled climatology) (Weatherspark (Cedar Lake Ventures, MERRA-2 reanalysis-modeled climatology), ~27 km) — windfinder.com/windstatistics/taiba could not be retrieved (HTTP 429 rate-limit on every attempt) and no weatherspark page exists for Taíba by name. Used Paracuru, ~27 km west along the same coast, as the nearest available climatology point; Fortaleza (~38 km east) was the alternative but Paracuru is closer and on the same open-coast exposure.
