Grado

A shallow northern-Adriatic lagoon town with two distinct kite launch areas - the Sacca dei Moreri islet and Punta Barbacale - both offering very shallow, protected water. Grado is popular even outside the summer high season thanks to relatively stable spring winds, and the historic old town and pinewood beaches give it a resort feel beyond just the kiting.

Monthly wind statistics

Station: Grado (WeatherSpark modeled climatology) (weatherspark, ~0 km) — Windfinder pages returned HTTP 429 rate-limit for the whole batch; used WeatherSpark's page specific to Grado (exact match). Windiest months per this model (Nov-Mar, ~6-6.3 kt) overlap the front half of the batch's known_best_months (Mar-Jun, Sep), but not the back half (Apr-Jun are actually calmer, 4.7-5.6 kt, in this data) - likely a thermal/Bora-event effect not captured by an annual mean. No Beaufort probability data available from this source.
